politicalsupport - online campaigning 2.0

As recently as four years ago, campaign websites were seen as a luxury item.  Today, an online strategy is a critical part of any campaign.  Many are not keeping up.  Lots of candidates have websites.  Very few have online strategies.

Political Support helps campaigns unleash the power of the Internet to win elections.  The magic of an effective online campaign is not in the technology, but in its strategic use.

      • Bobby Jindal for Governor
The most recent example of our work, bobbyjindal.com, was built in conjunction with our partners at iWeb Strategies for the 2007 Bobby Jindal campaign for Governor of Louisiana.

BobbyJindal.com not only combines the use of key online political campaign tools, such as blogging, YouTube, Flickr, and social networks, but also gives the Bobby Jindal campaign the power to control their own content. The content management system we implemented for BobbyJindal.com allows campaign managers to edit the content of the site as well as add documents, press releases, videos, and other materials with just a click of a button.

      • RNC Election Results Tracking
This project was a high tech endeavor we completed for the Republican National Committee. We constructed a detailed website that tracked voting results around the country for the 2004 and 2006 election cycles. Using a system of integrated maps and data, we tracked election results in real-time as they were reported throughout the United States and compared that to real-time turnout data.

This site is a great example of the programming capabilities of Political Support. Not only can we build aesthetically pleasing websites, but we can also build robust interfaces that use time-sensitive data and statistics.

      • Team Leader
Developed for the 2002 and 2004 cycles for the Republican National Committee, Team Leader was an online control center for GOP activists. At its height, the site was the home of over one million Republican volunteers.

Team Leader included a full range of action tools. Volunteers could write letters to the editor, contact their representatives, sign petitions, register voters, download walk and call lists, recruit friends and family, and network with other activists.
